Have you ever tried essential oils? Essential oils are the essence of a plant, distilled and prepared to bring the power of nature into your life. Inside many plants – hidden in roots, seeds, flowers, bark – are concentrated, highly potent natural chemical compounds known as their essential oils. These essential oils give a plant its scent, protect it from hazardous environmental conditions, and even assist it with pollination, among other important functions and benefits.

Each essential oil has it’s own healing or special power. You can just use one essential oil by itself of you can combine it with others to make an even more enjoyable special power. Some essential oils can be ingested, but I personally only use them in a diffuser, in a roller ball or in water when taking a bath.
When using a diffuser you will first add water to the container and then add your essential oils. When using a roller ball, you will first fill the container with an oil that can be used on your skin, I use organic 100% fractioned coconut oil, then add your essential oils. When adding it to your bath water make sure you only add a few drops to your water as that is really all you need.

The book explains what each essential oils super power is and how to use them.
Energy, Invigorating, Focus
My favorite combination for this is 6 drops Frankincense, 5 drops Rosemary, 8 drops Peppermint and 8 drops Wild Orange with 100% fractionated coconut oil. I first fill my roller ball 3/4 full with the coconut oil and then I add in the drops of each essential oil. I hold the roller ball up close to my nose and inhale 3 big breathes taking it all in. Sometimes I will rub some on my wrists as well.
Stress, Peace, Relaxation
My favorite combination for this is 10 drops Lavender, 10 drops Peppermint, and 10 drops Clary Sage. This one I do either in my diffuser which then fills the entire room, or in my roller ball with 100% fractionated coconut oil. Now that I am working from home I prefer my diffuser, but when I had to work in an office I used my roller ball.
Appetite, Cravings, Nausea
My favorite combination for this is 10 drops Grapefruit, 10 drops Peppermint, and 8 drops Ginger with the 100% fractionated coconut oil in a roller ball. I hold the roller ball up close to my nose and inhale 3 big breathes. This one I will use every 30 minutes if needed until the craving or nausea subsides.
Headache, Colds, Congestion
This combination all my kids love! Actually for a headache, all I use is 10 drops of Peppermint with the 100% fractionated coconut oil in a roller ball, inhale 3 times, rub behind the ears and back of the neck. My son swears by this!
For colds and/or congestion in a diffuser add in the water and then I add 6 drops eucalyptus, 6 drops peppermint, 6 drops lemon and 6 drops lavender and set the diffuser on 3 hrs.
Calm, Restful, Sleep
This one is my ABSOLUTE favorite combination! I use it every single night right before I go to sleep. It is 10 drops Lavender, 5 drops Frankincense, 4 drops Ylang Ylang, and 6 drops Cedarwood. I fill my roller ball 3/4 full with the 100% fractionated coconut oil and then I add in the drops of each essential oil. I hold the roller ball up close to my nose and inhale 3 big breathes, and then roll the oil behind my ears and on my wrists.
